After graduating with a degree in film production and presenting my thesis, I spent the summer cultivating proposals for a Netherlands Fulbright to make a documentary on Afro-Dutch biracial identity.
I was honored to move on to the next round of applications as a Semi-Finalist and three months later promoted to an Alternate status.

A still from my thesis film, “Life in the Between”. This story follows a six-year-old Black/white/Jewish girl named Sarruh, who looks to her father and sisters to piece together where she belongs in the United States.
