Big hair, big dreams, big heart

I spend a lot of time reflecting on the state of the world; the sadness, the violence, and the grief. I want to create art that shows the pockets of light despite having every justification to succumb to despair. So much of my process as a filmmaker starts from grappling questions about ways of life, researching structures and contexts of perspectives, and then deciding on the visual language to communicate responses rather than concrete answers.
With all the turmoil of the world, I strive to always believe in community, humanity, and love at least one more time and always one more time.
